Investment Manager

As Investment Manager, you will play a leading role in all aspects of the investment process, from deal sourcing to portfolio management. You will work closely with the senior management teams of our portfolio companies to support them in reaching their financial and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research in emerging sustainable markets

• Take initiative to identify attractive companies and reach out to their founders and shareholders

• Act as deal captain in all aspects of the investment process, including due diligence, valuation, and deal making

• Support senior management of portfolio companies in achieving their impact and financial goals, including identifying new opportunities for growth and improvements 

• Develop and maintain relationships with investors and other stakeholders

• Seek for new and innovative ways for SDG Capital to further advance the boundaries of impact investing

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in private equity or other investment-related roles

• Passion for sustainability and desire to make a positive impact

• Strong business sense, operational and analytical skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with others

• Fluency in Dutch and English is required
